This week I painted a pair of artworks inspired by my two favourite sections of bush along Te Aranui o Te Rangihaeata / Transmission Gully. On the right-hand side as you’re driving north, you might have seen this very small but crazily beautiful patch of native bush. This artwork captures one of my favourite spots - a blanket of Māhoe with Nīkau peeping through. Such a great green pattern!
